I had such a good time today celebrating our first wedding anniversary!

We slept in which was a nice start to the day. Then we went for a drive to Leura and had a walk up and down the main street, followed by a delicious lunch at the post office cafe. We've eaten there before, and I must say, it's becoming one of our favourites! We had chicken and salad on turkish bread. I want to make this at home! Then, we went for a drive to Katoomba, walked through the main street there, looking in all the antique shops and I even got to stop in at some of the nicest hippy shops! Nigel got a banana milkshake and I got an iced chocolate for afternoon tea at a cafe in Katoomba and we continued to wander. Then, we thought we'd go see a movie at the Edge cinema. Unfortunately, the movies we wanted to see weren't on until much later and so we decided we'd come up another time and we'd head home for the day. When we got home we relaxed for a while, and then my sister in law, Hope and her husband David, and our beautiful neice Lilli came over for a BBQ and we watched parts of our wedding video. That was a really nice end to our day!

We're still on holidays and have much planned for our time! Tomorrow is a bit mundane... dentist in the morning and the vet in the afternoon. I hate the dentist... I never have problems with my teeth (touch wood!) but it's still not plesant, having someone look into your mouth and clean your teeth! Oh well, some things will never be nice, but you still have to do them!

I'm off to sleep now. I'm still not sure even if someone is out there reading this... but none the less, goodnight whoever you are! :)
